While on the subject of Granada Bowl, the official results for the Livermore Valley Tournament have been posted. Peter and I finished 4th in the men's doubles which was good for $350.00. I finished 14th in men's singles which was worth $150.00. Peter finished 44th in the men's all-events category which was worth $21.00. Tom Crane will be distributing prize money for the LVT on the day of the Gigantic Five so Peter and I will have some money waiting there for us.
March 10th is also the first day of Daylight Saving Time. We will be setting our clocks forward an hour the night before. Don't be late because you failed to set your alarm clock forward an hour.
ReplyDeleteThe absolute latest we should arrive is 8:30. We have to check in and pay before we bowl and the line can be long in the final thirty minutes.
ReplyDeletePlease do yourself and your teammates a favor by arriving early enough to handle your administrative tasks so you will be prepared to bowl at 9:00. Don't make us wonder if you're going to show up. Don't rush in at the last second to bowl and miss your warm-up shots. I plan to be there by 8:00.
