3 wins, 1 loss |
A few lanes away, That's How We Roll got a boost from Jon Wat's first ever 600 series and took 3 of 4 from One Pin Standing. That dropped OPS's record to 25-19 and knocked them down to third place. Team 6 (Peter & Co.) swept Team 6 (Jeff & Co.) and are now in second place with a record of 27.5-16.5. We have a seven point lead in the standings.

I was fiddling around with the stats for some goals to reach next week. Obviously, we want to put up high scores to expand our lead in the standings. Here are some numbers to shoot for that will assist us in that endeavor:
ReplyDeleteCoach, if you bowl a 522 series, it will boost your average from 160 to 162.
Sharon, a 570 series will give you the league's high series for women and it will lift your average from 168 to 170. (Frances Tompkins currently has the women's high series of 554.)
Olivia, you've been shooting for your first 500 series. Next week, a 500 series on the nose will raise your average from 145 to 147.
Mike Tomimoto's 658 is the league's high series. If I can shoot a 659, it will lift my average from 194 to 196.
None of these goals are beyond our reach. If we keep practicing, we can nail all of them.
