These are the times that were open as of last weekend. I suspect the morning and noon squads on Sunday the 27th have closed by now. Anyone who wants to bowl this Sunday may have no choice but to do so at 3:00. In that circumstance, be prepared for VERY dry lanes. The lanes are not resurfaced after each Singles-Doubles squad.

Olivia is the only one of us who hasn't bowled a Singles-Doubles event yet and she will be looking to make up for that in the last two weekends. I have bowled Singles-Doubles with everyone except Olivia and I'm free to bowl in any of the squads listed except Saturday at 1:00.
At this point, we need to know when Olivia wants to bowl. I'm sure Olivia and Sharon are planning to enter in women's doubles. I'd like to bowl in the mixed doubles with Olivia. The Coach and Peter still haven't bowled in a mixed doubles event so far.

ReplyDeleteAlright. I know Peter wants to bowl Sunday. What do you say, Peter? 9AM for fresh oil, or 3PM for potentially super-dry lanes? I can do either one. The noon squad has only two openings and may be full by the time we apply.
ReplyDeleteOlivia is sick with the flu and won't be able to bowl this weekend. If the rest of us have our schedules in synch, Sharon and Peter could bowl the Friday 5PM slot when Coach and I are bowling. Then Sharon and Coach could bowl Sunday when Peter and I bowl. It appears anyone planning to bowl with Olivia will have to do it in the final two weekends of the tournament.

Oops! I meant Saturday for the 5PM slot. It's Saturday and Sunday only. Much like the Easybeats, I had Friday on my mind.

I had a great time, too. The LVT is a FANTASTIC tournament.
ReplyDeleteI checked the rules and I was wrong before when I said we get only one crack at it. We can re-enter:
"13. Bowlers may enter as often as they wish but no more than three (3) members can place on the same team more than once in the Prize List. Bowlers may also enter Doubles and Singles as often as they wish but may place only once with the Same Partner and only once in the Singles Event."
I haven't bowled doubles with Olivia yet. Once Olivia and I get that worked out, I can look at re-entering with anyone who wants to bowl again.
