Olivia and I bowled for a couple of hours at Diablo Valley Bowl this morning. Ray stopped by to offer some tips which we did our best to employ. (In case anyone forgot, league bowlers in good standing at Diablo Valley Bowl can bowl for free Sunday mornings from 9:00-11:00.) Here's a video from today's bowling:

Definitely. We would have put this out there in advance but it was a last second thing. Olivia and I are bowling in a doubles tournament at Bel Mateo Bowl on Thursday night so we were planning to practice there Sunday morning. However, a combination of circumstances (especially the heavy rain and high wind advisories for the San Mateo bridge) forced a change in plan. Ordinarily, our practice plans for the weekend would be posted here by Friday night.

I've already commited to bowl with some folks in my Friday Night Trios leauge. The league has the night off for the holiday but a bunch of the folks in the league said they still want to bowl so we agreed last week to meet at Castro Village Bowl at 7:00.
DeleteWe don't have to bowl this weekend. The tournament runs on weekends through the first weekend in February. If everyone would like to practice at Granada before we bowl in the tournament, let's put it off for a few weeks.
