What would you think about joining the Match Club? Pinole Valley Lanes' AMF corporate website doesn't have any information about it but Diablo Lanes' site does which you can check out here.
When we were practicing a couple of Saturdays ago in Pinole (the night of the power failure), Pinole's Match Club was bowling in a tournament against another bowling center's Match Club on the lanes to the right of us. Each club had five teams of four bowlers competing against each other.
I thought it might be a pretty fun thing to try. The catch is, the minimum average for women is 130 and for men it's 150. We'll need to keep practicing and improving to reach those minima. If it's something we decide to pursue, perhaps we can get Sharon to join with us to form a four-member team.
Not much interest, I guess.
