Our big tumble that saw us go 1 - 7 in weeks 5 & 6 knocked us from first place to fifth. We turned it back around last night to grab three of the four points and improve our record to 17-11.
The Coach informs me that House of House swept 2 Much while Team 4 and Dinomite split. I don't know what happened between Desperados and Overcomers. The standings are now bunched pretty tightly with Dinomite on top (18-10), followed by Icemen (17.5-10.5), Blockheads (17-11), House of House (17-11), 2 Much (16.5-11.5), and Team 4 (15-13). Overcomers may be somewhere in that group as they were 15.5-8.5 entering week 7.
Even though we weren't able to practice last week, The Coach made a lot of progress with his new hook shot and bumped his average up by three pins. I saw many shots buried in the pocket or just slightly off. We'll make it a point to practice a couple of times before next week's rematch with The Desperados. Getting our reps and fine tuning our shots should get us back to where we were a few weeks ago.
